Well, not really, he said if an abandoned house is more than 50% burned when they get there, they should let if finish burning to the ground. Note, he said if no people are in danger, and no other structures that have people in them is involved.
This plan while it may anger some, makes a loot of sense. Detroit has lost over 200,000 people in the last 10 years, and the people who walked away, have left their old homes to rot.
Detroit is not the only city to encounter this same situation, Ecorse and River Rouge have abandoned houses that need to be torn down.
I am just not sure burning them down to the ground is the answer.
How about the corp of engineers? the US government's trained demolition and building group come into Detroit and surrounding communities and help tear down abandoned buildings and homes.
Might be a plan? All though you might want to run it by Lane Blanton in Allen Park to see if it helps innocent motorcyclists?????? :-) ha ha ha ha ha just a joke, Lane is a fan of mine who hates my blog and calls it irresponsible? He focus in on a specific part of an issue and only see his side? What is the saying? can't see the forest for the trees?
Well at least I had one person read my blog.
Great
take care check back later
